Born in Giresun in November 1980, Hakan Parlakkılıç completed his high school education in the same city. PARLAKKILIÇ, who continued his commercial life in the commercial affiliates of the Parlakkılıç Family (1971, Koç Group – Arçelik dealerships) until the end of his high school education, later brought his new innovative ideas here in 1998 in order to increase and develop his experiences in Istanbul.

PARLAKKILIÇ, who repeatedly expresses the Trilogy of Success, Honesty and Discipline in his own words, attributes his ideas that will keep him strong in commercial life forever to his experiences gained in those years. Collaborations with Koç Group companies, process development analyzes and deterministic – stochastic thinking foundations, together with the establishment of 14 different companies, are increasing their commercial success day by day. Today, he continues to be the chairman of the board of directors of Merkez Lighting company, together with all his subsidiaries.

PARLAKKILIÇ, which started the infrastructural analysis studies of Merkez Lighting Company in 2014, is increasing its success adventure in the global commercial arena by combining the ZMR Lighting company it established in 2018 and the GENARD company it established in 2020 under the roof of Merkez Lighting. Knowing how important it is to establish ‘reliable commercial relations’ in the lighting sector, it sheds light on the sector with its innovative steps aiming to move the sector forward day by day.

He successfully managed the process of moving ZMR Lighting, which was established on 200 square meters in 2018 with the ideologies of “Domestic Production” and “One hundred percent domestic capital”, to 2000 square meters in 2020 and then to the Production Facility located in Gebze with an area of ​​20,000 square meters in 2022.

Today, under the roof of Merkez Lighting, he successfully continues his duty as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the production of high quality lighting products for the whole world in a production area of 20,000 square meters and more than 200 personnel.

He is married and has 4 children.
